That’s a wrap, 5th Grade! You’ve worked hard, learned so much, and made countless memories along the way. Now it’s time to enjoy a well-earned summer and get ready for the exciting adventure that awaits in 6th grade!

The History Brigade joined with local community members to brave the wind and the rain to decorate the graves of local veterans. It is always a fitting and moving end to the year to pay our respects to those who have served our nation in uniform. Let's remember those who served and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom this Memorial Day.

Last day of school! 1:30 p.m. dismissal!

HN's Preschool Classes enjoyed having an ice cream celebration today for their last day of school!

Mrs. Monday's kindergarten class enjoyed an ice cream treat today during centers for having EVERY STUDENT IN THE SIGHT WORD CLUB!! This is a huge accomplishment and the students worked hard all year to reach this goal!!

Tomorrow marks a big milestone for our amazing sixth grade students. It’s their last day as part of the elementary family at Hardin Northern! We invite all parents to join us as we clap them out of the elementary hall and celebrate their journey forward. It’s a special tradition and a moment you won’t want to miss. Clap out starts at 1:20 p.m. Early dismissal for all students at 1:30 p.m.

The softball tournament game at Kenton scheduled for tonight (5/21) has been postponed. It has been rescheduled for Friday (5/23) at 5p at Kenton.

The Athletic Department is in need of a ticket taker for the Varsity Baseball tournament game this Friday, May 23. You would need to start at 4:00p and would be done by 6:00p. If interested, contact brady.mast@hardinnorthern.org.

A big Polar Bear hug and shout out to our amazing lunch ladies! As the year wraps up, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to the incredible team in the Hardin Northern cafeteria. These ladies show up every single day with smiles on their faces, ready to serve up meals and they do it with kindness, patience, and a whole lot of love. We are so grateful for all they do and you are appreciated more than words can say!

Today was a dino-mite day in the second grade! The kids had a blast during our fun review day on dinosaurs, packed with all kinds of fun hands-on activities and learning adventures. So much fun!

The Hardin Northern 5th grade held its annual fundraiser for Water for South Sudan this past month. They raised $960.45 with classroom donations and a bake sale. Water for South Sudan is an organization created by Salva Dut that provides wells in remote areas in Africa. The school was also invited today to walk 3 miles around the track to simulate how long the walk is to a clean water source. Thank you to the HN Community for once again supporting this project!
