The first grade at Hardin Northern adopted pets this week. They wrote about why they chose their pets and their opinions of pets. The students worked together to build shelters for their pets.

Some of our fourth graders worked to the highest levels of our government mastery grid! Marcell Hogan and Izzy Weihrauch were the first to break out of our Constitution escape room! Way to go, you two!
Congratulations Sloan & La'Velle! 👏

Our third graders recently wrapped up their novel study of Stuart Little by E.B. White! After previously reading Charlotte’s Web, students compared and contrasted the two beloved classics, exploring common themes, characters, and E.B. White’s timeless storytelling style.
To celebrate the end of the book, students used their creativity and imagination to design and build their very own mice bedrooms! Using tissue boxes, paper towel rolls, construction paper, and other craft materials, they brought Stuart’s tiny world to life in the most amazing ways.
We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm for reading! 📚✨
