This week Miss. Karen & Miss. Reygan's preschool classes have been learning all about apples! Today we talked about how apples feel, sound, taste, and smell. We tasted red, green, and yellow apples and voted on our class favorite!

Yesterday, the Hardin Northern Boys Golf team competed in the Sectional golf tournament at Sycamore Springs in Arlington. Leading the Bears was Justin Thiel with an 82 and Preston Grappy with an 88. Justin will be advancing on to the district tournament next week in Bowling Green. The team placed 6th out of 13 teams. A huge shout out to the entire Golf Team for an incredible season and earning the NWCC runner-up title. So proud of all your hard work and accomplishments. Way to go Bears! ⛳

Congratulations to the HN Golf Team on their NWCC All-Conference Honors! The conference championship and individual honors are awarded after three 18 hole championship rounds have been held throughout the season. Justin Thiel placed 2nd in the NWCC Conference and Preston Grappy placed 6th, giving them both 1st Team All-NWCC honors! Xaviour Emerine placed 10th in the conference earning him 2nd Team All-NWCC honors! The Hardin Northern Golf team was the NWCC Runner-up this year. Way to go Bears!⛳

The smell of burning coal was in the air and history was booming Tuesday afternoon as the History Brigade hosted their annual Living History Day. Rain threatened all afternoon but it didn't dampen the spirits of any of the children or the presenters.
Grades K-6 had the opportunity to learn about Civil War artillery, practice Civil War drill, learn about a War of 1812 signal gun, and watch a blacksmith work on some small projects. Student presentations included child labor, the FFA, women's suffrage, and old-time farming.
We would like to give a special shout out to Mrs. Cross. She and her classes continue to dazzle us with a fantastic luncheon before the festivities and a very popular presentation on the history of teddy bears.
It's always a great day for history!
