🏐 Last night Hardin Northern Volleyball hosted Riverdale.
The Varsity Bears came out strong, defeating Riverdale in three sets:
HN 25-25-25 | Riverdale 18-22-23
Varsity highlights:
️ Kendall Frank – 25 assists
️ Lainey Thomas – 19 digs
️ Addy Bacon – 11 kills
️ Baylie Bacon – 8 kills
The JV Bears battled hard but fell to the Falcons:
HN 11-23 | Riverdale 25-25
👏A special shout-out goes to Kendall Frank and Lainey Thomas for reaching incredible career milestones!
#10 Kendall Frank (setter) as a junior, Kendall reached 1,000 assists during the McComb vs. HN game on August 18th.
#4 Lainey Thomas (libero) as a senior, Thomas earned her 1,000th dig against Arlington on August 30th.

Yesterday was Hardin Northern’s final NWCC tournament of the season. The Bears finished 6th in the NWCC standings for the year but showed tremendous growth throughout the three tournaments. Each time out, HN cut strokes and proved just how much improvement they’ve made!

The Polar Pantry is an after school drink/snack program available for students involved in extra curricular activities. Students are able to grab something to eat & drink so they are fueled for practices & games. The pantry also supplies the Polar Power-Up Packs for JH & HS students to have food & drinks for over the weekend. During the month of August, 92 different students utilized the pantry and 442 "meals" were provided.
The Polar Pantry is funded with the help of United Way, the West Ohio Food Bank, and donations from our community.

Our third graders have been hard at work crafting their own narrative stories, and now it’s time to celebrate! To mark the end of our writing unit, we will be holding a Publishing Party where students will share their finished pieces with one another. This special event gives our young writers the chance to shine as “real authors,” showcasing their creativity, effort, and growth.
To make the celebration extra sweet, we will enjoy some cookie treats together after sharing. We are so proud of our third graders’ hard work and can’t wait to celebrate their achievements in writing!
