Due to the OSU football game, the HS boys basketball game with Arcadia on December 21 will now have a JV start time of 3:00 pm.

On Thursday, Hardin Northern's Preschool classes participated in Santa Night at Simon Kenton School. It was an open house format for all ages to visit with Santa, play reindeer games, and participate in other fun activities! Thank you to all the families that joined us in making this night magical and fun!

The Hardin Northern Senior Class would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in the community who came out to support their Breakfast with Santa fundraiser. We had a great turnout, and it was such a fun and memorable event! It was truly special to see the joy and excitement on the kids’ faces as they visited Santa. Your support means so much to our seniors and helps make events like this possible. Thank you for coming out and sharing in the holiday spirit with us!

Tonight, the Hardin Northern High School Boys Basketball team hosted North Baltimore, and it was an incredible night for the Bears! The varsity team came out strong, securing a big win with a final score of 56-25. Leading the way were: Xander Wilson with 19 points, Luke Price with 9 points, and Nolan Hopson with 7 points. The JV team also dominated, defeating North Baltimore 44-4! Congratulations to both teams on the impressive performances. Great job, Bears!

Mrs. Hackworth's first grade at Hardin Northern has been learning while having some Christmas fun. They researched reindeer and wrote stories. They made gingerbread houses and decorated cookies. They have written about how Santa could get unstuck from a chimney. The students have also been watching out for the Grinch.

Tonight at the Hardin Northern varsity boys basketball game, we’re doing something special! Before the varsity starters are announced, we’ll be turning out the lights and asking everyone to turn on their cell phone flashlights to light up the gym. We will do this for every home game! Come out tonight, show your Polar Bear pride, and cheer on our team! It’s going to be an unforgettable night of basketball and community spirit. Let’s pack the stands and make some noise! Also, it is Neon Night, so wear your brightest clothes!

This week Ms. DeLong's class read gingerbread stories. They made paper gingerbread houses and then wrote why their house would be the best to buy. Mr. Halsey read their papers and picked a few houses he would buy! The first graders ended their gingerbread week by decorating their own gingerbread cookies and writing the steps of how to eat a gingerbread cookie!
