Last night’s Hardin Northern Junior High and High School Band and Choir Concert was absolutely amazing! The students sounded incredible and truly put us in the holiday spirit with their performances. Hats off to Mr. Reeves and Ms. Irwin for their outstanding leadership and dedication to these talented students. It was such a great all-around performance, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved. Thank you for making the evening so special for our community! 🎄

Yesterday the juniors joined Mr. Foster as they visited the National Air Force Museum at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. This was their field trip reward they earned by passing the American History AIR test last year. While at the museum the students completed a photo scavenger hunt and explored exhibits focusing on such famous events as the Berlin Airlift and the dropping of the atomic bomb. While no one was brave enough to try one of the aircraft simulators, they did try their luck at a spacewalk. Of particular interest was the retired Air Force One that served eight different presidents. Students could walk inside and see where Lyndon Johnson took the oath of office and even saw where the casket that held John Kennedy’s body was kept. Students were also able to visit the Memphis Belle and Bockscar.

Due to some icy road conditions in the district, Hardin Northern will be starting today, Thursday, December 12th, on a two-hour delay. Any further updates will be sent in a timely manner. Please use caution when driving. Have a good day.

The Hardin Northern RoboBears, our amazing robotics team, inspired future innovators today! They gave an exciting presentation about their robot and explained how it all worked to Mrs. Mast’s 3rd grade class. The 3rd graders even got hands on, brainstorming how they would program a robot of their own. It was a fantastic opportunity to spark creativity and introduce the next generation to the world of robotics and problem solving. Great job RoboBears for inspiring young minds!

Last night, the Hardin Northern Junior High Girls hosted North Baltimore. HN 7th grade dominated with a score of 31-2. HN 8th grade battled hard and secured a 24-16 victory. Congratulations, Bears!

Math + Creativity in Second Grade! 🎄🎨 The second graders at Hardin Northern have been hard at work reviewing their double-digit subtraction skills and showing off their creativity!
