Today, Mr. Halsey treated our 5th grade students to a fun-filled trip to SkyZone!
This celebration was well earned, recognizing the students for reaching their goals last year and achieving great test scores.

Today, Mrs. Breece’s Holiday Card Club took a special trip to Vancrest of Ada, delivering over 80 handmade holiday cards to brighten the residents’ day.
Each card was thoughtfully designed by our students with festive cheer and kind words, and the impact was truly heartwarming. These letters have had such an impact on the residents that one of them wrote back to the students and asked to become pen pals!

To wrap up the quarter, our chemistry students ended with a festive, hands-on Christmas activity!
Students extracted protein from milk to create a polymer, which they then shaped into holiday ornaments. Once the ornaments were formed, students decorated them with glitter, peppermint oil, and paint before adding ribbon for the finishing touch.

Chemistry students completed their “Chemis-Tree” activity this week! 🎄
Students selected an element, researched its characteristics and uses, and then created a Christmas tree ornament that represented their chosen element to hang on the Chemis-Tree.
They did a fantastic job combining creativity and science!

Run, run as fast as you can! 🏃♂️ Our second graders compared different Gingerbread stories by analyzing characters, endings, and repeated phrases. Then they put all of the differences on a gingerbread house anchor chart!
