Attention Senior parents with students going on the NYC trip.

Fourth grade has participated in a post card exchange with classrooms across the country! They have received post cards with many interesting facts about other states. They also spent time learning about Ohio in order to create their own postcards to send back!

This morning, our Hardin Northern RoboBears had the awesome opportunity to sit down with local farmers for a coffee chat! They shared all about their robotics program, what they do at competitions, and everything that goes into their builds and problem solving. It was a fun and engaging discussion, and we are so grateful to our local farmers for taking time out of their morning to connect with our students. These conversations strengthen our community and inspire innovation!

The Elementary Library is gearing up for our May Author Visit with Bruce Hale! This week, Mrs. Hipsher has been talking with the students about nonfiction shark books and sharing videos of Hale reading his book, Clark the Shark. Hale has written over 70 books, and explains, "Having been a reluctant reader myself, I know how to reach those kids who haven’t yet discovered the magic of books." We look forward to much more reading and writing fun as we prepare for Hale's visit to HN!
