Hardin Northern 5th grade D.A.R.E. students had an awesome experience today with the Hardin County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit! Students learned all about the purpose and training of the K-9 Unit, how the dogs pick up scents, and how they help officers in the field. One of the highlights was watching a live demonstration of the K-9 apprehending a “perpetrator”. That was a hit with the kids! A huge thank you to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department for taking the time to teach our students! We truly appreciate your dedication and service!
