While reading The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, sixth graders created a map on the bulletin board showing the journey of Dorothy and her friends. They have compared the novel to the movie and are in the process of writing persuasive essays.

Today was "Twin Day" as we continue celebrating Homecoming week with our spirit theme! We were seeing double all over the school with so many creative twin pairs! Here are just a few pictures of some of the awesome duos who joined in on the fun! Go Bears!

We tasted apples and stamped with them. We even learned how to make applesauce and tasted our results.

Homecoming week has officially kicked off, and the school spirit is stronger than ever! Each grade in the Jr. high and high school has been assigned a designated area in the hallways to decorate, and we can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity and pride shine through.
