A huge thank you to our teachers and parents who helped make these parties so special for our students. Days like today remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a caring school community.

Today, we held our February Lunch and Learn, and our students had the pleasure of hearing from Megan Burgess.
Megan shared how her journey began with market goat and sheep projects in 4-H at the Wayne County Fair, which inspired her to pursue a degree in Animal Science at The Ohio State University. After graduating, she worked for Ohio State and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and in 2023, she stepped into her dream role as a State Grazing Specialist for the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Her presentation was very enjoyable, and our students learned so much about career pathways in agriculture and natural resources.

Thank you, Megan, for taking the time to share your story and your career with our students.

As we near the end of our electricity unit, 4th grade students rotated through stations to review what they’ve learned. They tested insulators & conductors in a circuit, analyzed problem cards, designed snap circuits, and reviewed topics with task cards!
