Shoutout to Ms. Jettinghoff and her wonderful second graders for celebrating World Kindness Day by spreading kindness throughout Hardin Northern! Your thoughtful actions are making a difference around the school. Way to go, second grade-keep sharing that kindness and making everyone’s day a little brighter! 👏👏👏

On November 7th and 8th, students from Mrs. Cano's art classes at Hardin Northern JH/HS were featured at the Ohio Middle Level Association (OMLA) annual state conference. Their work was on display at the art show and was seen by schools from across the state of Ohio who were able to make comments on their art pieces. Over 600 people were in attendance at the conference and this was a huge honor for our students to be featured at the state level. Congratulations to Hank Chamberlain and Benji Navarro!

Fifth graders are investigating how fast the Earth rotates. They are pretending to be Earth and modeling how Earth rotates. Students are also modeling sunrises and sunsets while discussing what the other half of the world is seeing at these times. They are excited to continue learning about space!

Happy World Kindness Day from Hardin Northern! Today, we celebrate the power of kindness in our school and community. A small act of kindness can make a big difference, and we encourage everyone to spread a little extra positivity today and EVERY DAY!
