We cannot say thank you enough to Theresa Buxton and Jessie Taylor from Hardin Solar Energy Center for their incredibly generous donation! Their support brought so many goodies for the Polar Pantry and the new weekend Polar Power Up Packs program. This generosity will go a long way in helping. Your kindness and commitment to our community, and the support of our students are deeply appreciated!

Last night, the Hardin Northern High School boys basketball teams took the court for their season opener against Liberty Benton. It was an exciting start for our JV team, who fought hard and secured a thrilling 28-26 victory! While the varsity team faced a tough challenge, falling to Liberty Benton with a final score of 68-32, they showed great effort and determination. Great job to both teams for kicking off the season!🏀 HN Scoring Leaders Xander Wilson- 14 Andrew Sutton-4 Mason Stewart-4

Ms. DeLong's class spent the week doing turkey themed activities and celebrating Thanksgiving! They wrote about how to cook a turkey, wrote what they are thankful for, made a fact family turkey, and completed a cutting challenge. They also made a Thanksgiving dinner craft and had their own feast! The first graders want to thank all the parents who helped with the feast and to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Our third graders, with help from some of Mrs. Cano’s talented high school art students, worked hard to create incredible floats for their very own Hardin Northern Thanksgiving Day Parade! Their creativity and teamwork truly shines and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts!

After learning about background, middleground, foreground and aerial perspective, Mrs. Cano's 8th grade art class put their knowledge into practice by creating 3D sculptures based on a television show of their choice. Students built box televisions and then filled the inside with a scene from their chosen show using the concepts learned in class. Students used watercolor to paint a background and then cardboard and paint to build a middleground and foreground. Once the sculptures were complete, students wrote scripts to act out and record and then made QR codes and remotes for their TV's so viewers could click the QR code and hear the students act out the scenes.
