Congratulations to the following students for their great performance on the Americanism & Government test sponsored by the American Legion. Kendall Frank and Kaitlin Whitaker were the top 10th-grade girls at Hardin Northern. Mason Stewart (12th grade), Lainey Thomas (11th grade), Riley Newton (11th grade), and Cody Thiel (10th grade) were the highest for their respective grades, including our surrounding schools.

Students in grades 7-12 just finished a Winter Reading Challenge, earning raffle tickets for time spent reading. Congratulations to the raffle winners: Audrey Brodman, Faith LaPlant, Joe Chamberlain, Addison Richardson, Grant Doll, Wyatt Linke, Ali Chamberlain, Serenity Richer, and Gabe Trachsel. Thank you to Wilson Football Factory for prize donations and the Hardin County Community Foundation for your grant supporting our library activities! Next up: March Reading Madness!

Today’s elementary dress-up theme was Green Eggs and Ham, and the kids were all decked out in green! We caught up with some students in the library as they picked out some books and celebrated the joy of reading!

Last night the NWCC winter sports banquet was held at Elgin . Congratulations to all the Hardin Northern 1st team recipients, Xander Wilson and Addy Bacon, Coach of the Year, Brady Mast, and to the girls basketball team for NWCC Champions!
The Father-Daughter dance hosted by HN History Brigade will be Friday, April 25th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Spring pictures are right around the corner! Order forms will be sent home with students next week.

Congratulations, Riley Newton! Riley has qualified for State in the State Indoor Track Meet for the 400m and the 60m, which will take place this Friday, March 7th in Geneva, Ohio. Way to go Riley. We are so proud of you! Good luck at State!
