A big thank you to everyone who came out last night for the Jr. High and High School Polar Bear Showcase! We had a great turnout, and it was so nice for the students to share what they’ve been working on this year. From performances to projects, it was a wonderful evening to celebrate their accomplishments. We’re proud of all our Polar Bears!

The 5th Graders have been presenting their Water Project to different classrooms in the elementary. They have learned about types of wells, what the water crisis is, and ways we can help. The 5th grade is raising money for Water for South Sudan which provides wells in remote villages in Africa. There will be a bake sale in Mrs. Settlage's room (1412) during the Elementary Polar Bear Showcase on May 14 from 5-7pm. Come and learn about our project!
The first graders at Hardin Northern had an amazing trip to Imagination Station. We had lots of fun exploring and interacting with science.

Hardin Northern 5th grade D.A.R.E. students had an awesome experience today with the Hardin County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit! Students learned all about the purpose and training of the K-9 Unit, how the dogs pick up scents, and how they help officers in the field. One of the highlights was watching a live demonstration of the K-9 apprehending a “perpetrator”. That was a hit with the kids! A huge thank you to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department for taking the time to teach our students! We truly appreciate your dedication and service!
