Introducing the Polar Pantry! 🌟
In partnership with West Ohio Food Bank we’re excited to announce the launch of the Polar Pantry generously funded by a grant secured by Hardin County’s United Way which will support and provide an after school snack to members of our after school extracurriculars and sports teams! We understand the food insecurities that some of our students and families face here in our county, and this pantry is our way of making sure no one goes without.
Thank you to the United Way of Hardin County and West Ohio Food Bank for partnering with Hardin Northern Local Schools to make a positive difference in our youth!

Just another week in Elementary Music Class! Here are just a few of the things we did this week!
2nd Graders learned how to keep steady beat using "Steady Beat Buddies". Some students were given the challenge of tossing the buddies to each other each time they heard the word "taco" in the song "It's Raining Tacos."
Kindergarteners also learned about steady beat and how to use rhythm sticks. They learned a steady beat dance to the song "Crab Rave".
4th graders played a game where they had to swat the rhythm being performed. It got very competitive!
Some classes had the opportunity to create and explore using Chrome Music Lab.
