Last week Ms. DeLong's class had a reindeer week. They learned facts about reindeer and made a reindeer portfolio. They wrote fiction and nonfiction stories about reindeer. The first graders finished the week by reading and watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Last night, the Hardin Northern boys basketball teams hosted Elgin, and it was a clean sweep! The Varsity won 69-36, JV won 43-25, and Freshman won 41-39. Leading scorers for Varsity Andrew Sutton -16, Luke Price-13, Xander Wilson-12. Way to go, Bears! Your hard work and teamwork continue to make us proud. Keep the momentum going!

Mrs. Souder’s GRIT family made cupcake Christmas tree ornaments Friday in family time! They shared Christmas favorites as they worked on their cupcakes. They are super cute and look good enough to eat! Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
